How to reward a young agent of change?: Alliance between Ashoka and Nestlé
Within the framework of the IV Youth Meeting of the Pacific Alliance , a meeting that was held for the first time in Mexico and which brought together young France Mobile Number List people from four Latin American nations; Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. Winning projects 2019
Start up Cycle
David Castaño from Colombia is 29 years old, he was one of the young winners as an agent of change, thanks to his start-up called Cycle , a platform that was born in 2017. The main objective of his project is to create renewable energy systems that are profitable for homes in remote communities of Colombia.
Currently five people are involved in this project directly, and indirectly some young people and teachers who are involved through research seedbeds. As another achievement, Cycle has tested this service in the community of Guajira, Colombia, with which it plans to benefit around 100 energy users in that community.
Epic Queen
Ana Ramírez was the other young winner of agent of change, for her project called Epic Queen , which was born as an idea to empower girls in science topics. Now it is an organization that works to motivate participation, mainly of women, girls and boys in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and related areas.
